About Me

Greetings Everyone! My name is Ethan Ward. I am a high school student from Longmont, Colorado. I started baking in March 2019, when I made a cake for my dad's birthday. Although the cake did not turn out as I had hoped, I was inspired to teach myself how to bake, frost, and decorate cakes and cookies.

 

After a year of practice, I took my first official order in February 2020. Since then, my business, EJ Bakes Bakery, has grown exponentially through the recommendations of family, friends, and new clients. I love to share my baked goods with everyone and am especially happy when I can provide them for events and pop up stands. (Images 1)

 

I have also had the opportunity to instruct cookie decorating classes, which I thoroughly enjoyed. (Images 2) I love to bake with family and friends and am grateful for their support. (Images 3) My passion for baking is matched only by my love for performing and watching musical theater. (Images 4)

 

Finally, I am grateful to my parents and siblings for putting up with the crazy kitchens and long nights that come with running a bakery. I am excited to see where my passion for baking will take me in the future.
